Hi! I'm here via antiqueskies's journal. (You mentioned Philip Glenister in a comment. That's all I need to know. *G*)

We seem to have a ridiculous number of things in common. I finished Ashes To Ashes last month (it's now my favourite show ever), and I'm currently working my way through Spooks for the first time, so those are my main topics of conversation/flailing at the moment. All my current shows and ships are listed in my profile, and I have a Tumblr if you want to know more.

Hee, I can totally imagine Martha having that monologue in her head (or even out loud, LOL). At some point I felt like I could ship her with Nick (especially when he was all "I'm madly in love with her"). After that, I shipped her with Clive because OMG, so awkwardly brilliant. But frankly, I could pretty much ship her with anyone or no one at all: my only OTP on this show is Martha/Justice or something :)

Oh, ugh, I may have to try then. It will be Nick/Martha, though - for some reason I never really got behind Clive. Might throw in a bit of Kate/John for kicks.
But yes, their banter is fantastic. I do love a ship that can do banter. Personal favourite: "And stop pretending you're normal, Clive, you went to Harrow."
